CUSTER COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR/CNN) - Human remains have been found inside two cars pulled from a lake in western Oklahoma, according to the Elk City Daily News.
The cars are decades old, with model years dating back to 1969 and 1957. Six bodies were recovered after the vehicles were discovered by Custer County crews practicing with a new sonar device at Foss Lake.
Investigators believe the discovery may be related to missing persons cases.
The identities of those found have not yet been released.
