St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - An early morning call for a fire in a building turned out to be two building's on fire in north St. Louis.
Firefighters were called initially for a vacant building ablaze on Arlington Avenue near Wells. When they arrived, they found the original fire was already spreading to another vacant building next door to the fire.
Both of the structures were described as three story brick homes that had apparently been unoccupied for some time. The original fire destroyed the building where it originated, damage was kept to a minimum at the neighboring building.
No known cause for the blaze and no report of any injuries in the fire which was first reported just before 2:30 a.m.
