CHICAGO (AP) - Gov. Pat Quinn says he is deeply saddened by the "horrific" shooting in a Chicago park that injured 13 people, including a 3-year-old boy.
The Chicago Democrat issued a statement Friday saying he is praying for victims' swift recovery. Quinn also says the "senseless violence must be stopped."

The shooting occurred late Thursday on the city's southwest side.
Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy says Friday it appears the attack was gang-related and that several victims are gang members. He says investigators believe several people were involved, but that it wasn't clear yet whether more than one person opened fire.
McCarthy also says it's "a miracle" no one was killed.
