ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Jimmy Kimmel had some fun at St. Louis' expense on his show Wednesday night, telling guest Jon Hamm that he is "St. Louis' favorite son" and making him taste test Imo's Pizza.
Kimmel, whose wife is from St. Louis, is not a fan of the city's culinary treasures
"I get a lot of abuse from people in St. Louis whenever I make fun of their terrible, terrible pizza place," he said.
Kimmel made Hamm do a taste comparison between an Imo's Pizza he had sent to his studio and one he made himself. Hamm loyally proclaimed that Imo's was better.
"You can taste the Gateway Arch," he said of the pizza. "You can taste the World Series wins."
The reason why Hamm supported Imo's?
"I'm from St. Louis, there's a lot of weird stuff that we do."
For the record, Kimmel says toasted ravioli is "terrible also."
