ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Washington Avenue between Memorial and 2nd Street will be closed starting on Oct. 14 for approximately one month in conjunction with the CityArchRiver 2015 project, the Missouri Department of Transportation announced Friday.
By the end of November, drivers will be able to turn right from Memorial Drive onto eastbound Washington Avenue to get to the north side of the Arch. After the closure, Washington will be permanently closed only in the westbound direction between 2nd and Memorial.
To get to the Arch parking garage while the intersection is closed, drivers will need to use Leonor K. Sullivan via Poplar Street or Biddle.
