MILLER, Mo. (AP) - The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a southwest Missouri skydiving accident left one person injured.
The Springfield News-Leader reports that the accident happened Saturday near the Kingsley Airfield, about five miles west of Miller.
FAA spokeswoman Elizabeth Cory says she can't provide specific information about the accident or the skydiver's condition. The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office also declined to provide those details to The Associated Press on Monday.
Cory says the FAA will investigate the packing of the parachute, the packing of the reserve parachute and the rules of flight that the aircraft followed.
