Assisted living project proposed in Frontenac

FRONTENAC, Mo. (KSDK) – A developer has submitted a proposal to build a $23 million assisted living facility just around the corner from Plaza Frontenac.

The project is being pitched by The Grove Assisted Living LLC – the company that proposed a similar project in Sunset Hills last fall. Pending approval, the 86-bed, 69,090 square foot center would rent out studios and one and two bedroom units on a monthly basis.

Construction is slated to begin in January 2015, with an August 2016 projected opening, according to the application. The Missouri Health Facilities Review Committee is scheduled to review the project on July 7.
