Car stolen in Brentwood crashes in north city

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A woman is injured after her vehicle was hit by an SUV that had allegedly been stolen in Brentwood early Sunday morning.

The two suspects remain at large.

The crash happened at Aubert Avenue and Suburban Trak in north St. Louis City, according to police. The 51-year-old woman whose vehicle was struck by the stolen SUV was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after she complained of back pain.

Police say the two suspects ran away from the scene.

The car was stolen on Sunday morning at gunpoint in Brentwood Forest at north Swan Circle.

The incident remains under investigation. No additional information was available.
