Childhood obesity rates drop in Missouri

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – Childhood obesity has been a hot topic for a long time, and maybe that's why the latest statistics from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention are being met with so much awe.

Obesity between ages two and five dropped 40 percent in a decade in some states – including Missouri.

Dr. Ken Haller, a pediatrician at SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center, joined us on First at 4 to give us more perspective on the latest numbers.
