Craft brewers take exception to A-B Super Bowl ad

ST. LOUIS – Anheuser-Busch struck a chord with craft brewers across the country with a Super Bowl ad promoting its brewing process, including some of A-B's neighbors right here in St. Louis.

Brian Owens, head brewer at O'Fallon Brewery said, "Did Budweiser just air a pumpkin and peach commercial? Really? Thanks ABI." O'Fallon is known for both its peach wheat and pumpkin beers.

Schlafly was a little more cordial, saying in part, "We love that all beer is about happiness and community."
