Creve Coeur repeals red light camera law

CREVE COEUR, Mo. (KSDK) – Drivers no longer have to worry about getting red light camera tickets in Creve Coeur.

City Council voted to repeal the ordinance Wednesday night. The program was suspended last year because the cameras are the focus of lawsuits around the region.

A state appeals court ruled that red light camera laws in Arnold and Ellisville violated state law.

Ellisville also voted to cancel its contract for the cameras in March.
