$145K worth of meth found inside Maries Co. home

MARIES COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) – Two Vienna, Mo. residents are accused of trafficking meth.

Members of the Maries County SWAT team and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group executed a search warrant at a home on Maries County Road 302 Thursday. Investigators found more than three pounds of crystal methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $145,000.

Drug paraphernalia, other items related to the sale of meth, and several weapons were also found at the home, which belongs to 51-year-old Starla M. Dudenhoeffer.

"The drug world took a substantial hit last night. This was the most crystal meth we have ever recovered at one time. I hope that this will deter other drug dealers from coming to this area," said Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman.

Dudenhoeffer and 52-year-old Timothy D. James were arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled substance. Both remain in custody at the Maries County Jail without bond.

James is currently on probation for felony possession of a controlled substance.
