Berkeley, MO (KSDK) - A 25-year-old St. Louis County man has been charged with murder.
Fred DeAndre Hudson was charged Thursday with first degree murder, first degree assault, and two counts of armed criminal action.
Police were called to a home in the 8400 block of Buckthorn in Berkeley, MO just before 1 a.m. January 22.
When police arrived they found 38-year-old Jameela Hubbard and 37-year-old Shannon Hubbard shot in a back bedroom. Jameela Hubbard died at the scene. Shannon Hubbard is expected to survive.
The investigation revealed the shooter was likely outside of the home and fired multiple gunshots through the bedroom window.
On January 25 police took Hudson into questioning for the shooting. He was charged Thursday.
Hudson is held at the St. Louis County Justice Center where he is held on a $250,000 cash-only bond.
