Spanish Lake, MO (KSDK) - Police sources say a carjacking in Alton led to a police chase that ended in a crash in Spanish Lake.
The suspects stole the white truck from a residence in Alton, then sped-off.
Officers say the suspect slammed into a pole in the 12000 block of Spanish Pond in Spanish Lake. Police say the occupants got out and ran away.
St. Louis County police are assisting Alton police in the search for the suspects.
