Arnold, MO (KSDK) -   An unidentified person is hospitalized this morning after they were shot late Wednesday at the Richardson Place apartments in Arnold.

Police have released few details on this incident, other than to confirm one person was struck by gunfire and has a non life threatening injury.  That person remains hospitalized.

Authorities say they are searching for a person of interest but have no one in custody at this time and have not formally identified who they are seeking.

No word on a motive for the attack which occurred just before midnight at the complex located off Interstate 55 and the Richardson Road exit in Jefferson County.
