Hollywood Heights, IL (KSDK)-   A crash in Hollywood Heights overnight left at least two homes without power for a time, and resulted in two people being hurt and one in handcuffs.

Police say a pick-up truck was speeding on Hollywood Heights Road approaching Oakland Drive when the driver lost control, crash through a fence, striking a utility pole, then crashing into a tree.

The power lines atop the utility pole fell to the ground and put the power out at two neighboring residences around 12:30 Thursday morning.

A man and woman inside the speeding vehicle were slightly injured, with the man being handcuffed prior to being placed into an ambulance for medical attention.

No names have been released and no word on why the driver was travelling so fast.
