University City, MO (KSDK) - Family, friends and strangers gathered in song and prayer Saturday night not far from where Destinee Clemons lost her life.

Police say the 17-year-old was sitting on her front porch on Thursday night when a car drove up and someone started shooting.  Destinee was hit and killed.  Her 23 year old sister was shot in the arm in the attack and says she's overwhelmed by the community support.

"It does a lot for me. It makes me feel like I'm not alone. Even though I don't have her I do have somebody," said Destinee's sister Jerryka McCauley.

Meanwhile, an intense investigation is underway to find Destinee's killer.  Saturday, police told KSDK they may know who's responsible.  Investigators confirm the shooter was probably riding in a red Toyota Corolla rental that was recovered yesterday.  Now, police are looking for the four men riding in the car the night of the murder.

"We've been talking with the family everyday and we're trying to help them understand that we're working hard and we're not going to stop," said University City Police Chief Charles Adams.
