Benton, IL (KSDK) -- An Illinois woman is charged with using the Internet to arrange sex acts with a minor, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois Stephen Wigginton said Wednesday.
23-year-old Heather Banks of Rosiclaire(Hardin County), Illinois, allegedly used the Internet on June 18, 2012, to induce a minor to engage in sexual acts, as well as induce a minor to give her prescription drugs in exchange for sex.
The charge carries a penalty of 10 years up to life in prison, a $250,000 fine, and a term of supervised release from 5 years to life.
