St. Louis (KSDK) - It's been three days since the murder of a former SLU volleyball player in the middle of the afternoon in the Central West End.

There is now a $20,000 reward in connection with the fatal shooting of Megan Boken.

This shooting is getting a lot of attention because police believe it was a random attack and because it happened in broad daylight attack in the Central West End.

There were seven other shootings in the same weekend, and that got the attention of Jennifer Joyce, Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis. On Tuesday she posted to her Facebook page, "Are we going to tolerate this as a city?"

We invited Joyce to join First @ 4 to talk about what we can do about all of the violent crime in the city.
