Spartanburg, SC (WSPA/CNN) - A Georgia woman is accused of pointing a gun at a South Carolina congressman.
Police in Spartanburg, South Carolina arrested 52-year-old Gloria Yvonne Brackett last night after Congressman Trey Gowdy reported the incident.
Investigators say Gowdy told them the woman approached his truck as he waited outside a church for a family member and told him to stop following her.
After he insisted that he wasn't following her, they say, Brackett returned with a gun.
Gowdy left and drove to the police station.
Officers were able to track down the suspect a short time later.
No one was hurt.
