Granite City, IL (KSDK) - A man found dead in an alley in Granite City, Illinois has been identified.
Charles A. Weiss, 54, was found with a gunshot wound in the 1200 block of Meridian shortly before 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
Weiss was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police believe Weiss had been the victim of a robbery.
