ALORTON, Ill. (KSDK) - Surveillance video shows a frightening crime unfolding in Alorton.
Workers were in the Dollar General store on Bond Avenue on Saturday night when a robber came through the front door.
The security cameras were rolling as he headed to a back room where a manager was counting the day's receipts. He came in holding another store employee, and demanded cash.
After he took the money he hit one of the workers with a gun and took off.
Alorton police want to hear from anyone who has information about this crime.
