FT. MYERS, Fla. (WBBH/CNN) - After months on the run, a man on the US Marshals Service's most wanted list has been arrested.
Felipe Torrealba was taken away on a stretcher in Fort Meyers, Florida Thursday. He suffered a cut to his head during the arrest.
Marshals tracked the 26-year-old to an apartment and say he had $15,000 in cash, cocaine, and guns in his possession.
Torrealba is the prime suspect in a murder.
"It's a great feeling to finally put handcuffs on a subject who has eluded us for months. This individual is extremely elusive. He's a 15 Most Wanted Fugitive for the US Marshal Service and we have put an incredible amount of resources together," said Barry Golden, with the US Marshals Service.
Marshals say Torrealba had a network of people helping stay ahead of the law.
