ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - Charges have been filed against a man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death.
Phillip M. Huffman, 24, has been charged with one count of first-degree murder and one count of armed criminal action.
Officers were called to a home in the 8800 block of Maya Lane around 3 p.m. Wednesday and found a 23-year-old woman stabbed to death.
The woman's eight-day-old child was in the home at the time and removed from the scene by the Children's Division of Protective Services.
Bond for Huffman is set at $1 million.
Authorities say additional charges may be issued.
