NORTH ST. LOUIS (KSDK) -- St. Louis police are investigating a homicide that happened in the 8700 block of Riverview around 10:30 Saturday night.

Kelvin Houston, 21, from St. Charles, Missouri, was shot twice in the back. He was transported to a local hospital where officials pronounced him dead.

A female, 21, was taken into custody as a suspect. A weapon was also recovered from the crime scene.
