Bank robbed in Hazelwood

HAZELWOOD, Mo. – Hazelwood police are investigating a bank robbery Friday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Hazelwood Police Department says a man entered the Bank of America location in the 7600 block of N. Lindbergh shortly before 1 p.m., announced a robbery, and implied he had a weapon. He left the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid to late 20s. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, baseball-style cap, and sunglasses. He drove away from the area in a white Chevrolet Impala or similar vehicle, south on Lindbergh.
