City removes vandalized signs along I-55

ST. LOUIS - Disturbing messages left on city signs suggest St. Louis' homeless should be put on trains to a concentration camp. The vandalism could cost tax payers thousands of dollars.

City officials had to remove half a dozen vandalized signs along Interstate 55 on Tuesday because of the disturbing message. Someone clearly covered up part of the original signs with stickers to make it look like an official city sign. The signs were initially put up to discourage panhandlers.

The vandalism is now under police investigation.
