Florissant man charged in Baden shooting

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office issued warrants Friday against a Florissant man believed to have gunned down someone in the Baden neighborhood in July.

According to Leah Freeman, a spokeswoman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting took place around 2:40 a.m. in the 8400 block of Lowell.

When police arrived at the scene, they found 31-year-old Reginald Booker lying dead in the street. A second shooting victim, a 26-year-old man, was on the sidewalk with wounds to the head, hand, and shoulder. That person was taken to a hospital and treated for their injuries.

Following a month-long investigation, detectives identified the suspected shooter as 33-year-old Billy Rabun. Prosecutors charged Rabun with first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, and two counts of armed criminal action.

Rabun remains at large, Freeman said.
