Four people charged for shooting death

ST. LOUIS – Four people are charged in connection to March 21 shooting in north St. Louis.

Alicia Miller, 26, was shot in her buttocks and thigh in the 2500 block of Hodiamont shortly before 4:30 p.m. She was taken to an area hospital where she was listed in critical and unstable condition.

Miller died April 17.

Police say an investigation revealed Miller had been involved in a fight with other women when a man fired shots at her. Four people are now charged in connection with Miller's murder.

Darius Hamell, 17, is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. His bond is set at $1 million cash-only. Police say he is in custody in another state on unrelated charges.

Lonisha Cummings, 17, is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. She is in custody and held without bond.

Briona Zimmerman, 22, is charged with two counts of first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. She remains at large. Her bond is set at $100,000 cash-only.

Jamie Harris, 27, is charged with second-degree assault. She remains at large. Her bond is set at $25,000 or 10 percent cash-only.
