Images released of Franklin Co. burglary suspect

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – Surveillance cameras captured images of a man burglarizing a Franklin County home Monday night.

Deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office were called to a home in the 6000 block of Highway, outside of Pacific, around 7:30 p.m. after the owner arrived home and noticed the burglary.

The owner told deputies he had surveillance cameras posted outside the home. Deputies viewed the video and have released three images of the suspect and his vehicle.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man wearing a ball cap, dark t-shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. He got out of his dark-colored two-door vehicle and walked near the doors of a camper parked on the property. He is also seen in other areas of the property before running from the home and speeding away in his vehicle.

An alarm system that emits a sound is installed on the home, and the homeowner believes it was activated during the burglary.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Franklin County Sheriff's Office at 636-583-2560. Callers can remain anonymous.
