Kansas City teens charged with St. Peters car theft

ST. PETERS, MO. - Three Kansas City teenagers are facing charges after police said they were involved in the theft of four cars from a dealership in St. Peters.

According to a press release from the St. Peters Police Department, a dealership on the 4900 block of Veterans Memorial Parkway had four cars stolen from the lot at around 1:30 Monday morning.

When officers arrived, they saw the four cars — a 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, a 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat, a 2016 Dodge Charger Scat Pack and a 2016 Dodge Charger Scat Pack — speeding through the parking lot and onto Veterans Memorial Parkway.

Three of the cars crashed less than a mile from the dealership, and the drivers were taken into custody. One of the drivers was a minor and has been referred to Juvenile Court.

The other two — 17-year-old Deandre Chiney and 19-year-old Jordon Neely — were charged with receiving stolen property, second-degree burglary, first-degree tampering and felony resisting arrest. They are being held on $25,000 bonds in St. Charles.
