The Major Case Squad is taking up the investigation after a man was found dead in Washington, Missouri, Thursday morning.
Lt. Gary Higginbotham, a spokesman for the Major Case Squad, said 70-year-old Kenneth Allen Jr. was found in his home on the 300 block of Elmwood Estates Drive off Highway 47 in Washington.
Higginbotham said there were no obvious signs of injury, and the Major Case Squad is still trying to learn the cause of death.
Friday, thee people from the Union area were arrested. They are Whitney Robins, 28, Timothy Wonish, 30, and Blake Schindler, 17. They were each charged with first-degree burglary and receiving stolen property, and each being held on $200,000, cash-only bond.
Higginbotham said Allen did contract work at the Meramec Recovery Center, an outpatient, substance-abuse treatment center.
The investigation is ongoing.
