Man armed with shotgun fled police following fight at White Castle

SHILOH, ILL. - An 18-year-old Belleville man is facing charges after police say he fled from police and led them on a dangerous high-speed pursuit following a fight at White Castle.

Police responded to the White Castle on the 1100 block of North Greenmount Road for a large fight on June 8 around 8:20 p.m.

One of the people involved in the fight, Jonathan Pham, was armed with a shotgun.

Pham fled the scene armed with a shotgun. Officers pursued his vehicle, but called off the pursuit after he committed numerous traffic violations and speeds reach a level that were not safe for the public.

Pham was taken into custody on June 13. His bail is set at $25,000. He faces aggravated fleeing/attempting to elude an officer, and unlawful use of a weapon charges.
