Man charged for robbery near Ballpark Village

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – An East St. Louis man has been arrested for a robbery that occurred near Ballpark Village Monday, according to St. Louis Police.

Craig Pomerlee, 32, faces five counts of first-degree robbery and five counts of armed criminal action.

According to police, two men in a red Chevy Blazer approached a group of men and demanded their money. The two removed possessions and fled the scene.

Pomerlee is being held on $500,000 cash-only bond.

There is no word on the other man involved, but the investigation continues.
