Man charged in running over another with car

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) – A 50-year-old has been charged for running over another man in north St. Louis Tuesday.

Joseph Davis faces a number of charges, including second-degree murder, armed criminal action, stealing of a motor vehicle, stealing a firearm, first-degree robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm and stealing less than $500. He was arrested Wednesday.

Tuesday, the body of 40-year-old James Buck was found in the 5000 block of Arlington, a few blocks north of Interstate 70. According to a medical examiner, Buck suffered trauma to his head and body consistent with being run over by a vehicle.

Davis is being held without bond.
