Man charged with dollar store robberies

ST. LOUIS COUNTY - A St. Louis man was charged Tuesday after police said he committed two robberies at stores on Lemay Ferry Road in the last week.

According to a press release from the St. Louis County Police Department, William Creed, 41, was charged with two counts of first degree robbery in connection with a robbery at the Dollar General on the 1000 block of Lemay Ferry on Sept. 28 and at the Family Dollar store on the 800 block of Lemay Ferry on Oct. 3.

The probable cause statement said Creed implied he had a weapon, but no one was hurt in either incident.

Creed is being held on the $100,000, cash-only bond.
