Man stabbed outside south city bar

ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A 32-year-old man remains hospitalized in critical condition after being stabbed outside a bar in the Carondelet neighborhood in south St. Louis overnight.

The stabbing occurred just after midnight at Little Bar, at the intersection of Alabama Avenue and Holly Hills Boulevard.

According to investigators, an argument between the victim and an acquaintance turned violent, leading to one man pulling out a knife and stabbing the other in the stomach. That man fled the scene.

Police have a 33-year-old man in custody, but have not said if he's the suspect.
