Men accused of robbing gas station at gunpoint

SHILOH, Ill. – Two men are in custody following an armed robbery at a Shiloh gas station Thursday.

Det. Jesse Phillips says the robbery happened at the Circle K in the 2400 block of Lebanon Avenue. The suspect showed a gun and took an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing. Nobody was injured.

Phillips says two Shiloh officers found two suspects, identified as 22-year-old Deandre L. LePrade and 19-year-old Michael L. Jackson III, in a vehicle nearby. They were taken into custody without incident.

LePrade is charged with armed robbery with a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, and unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He is held on a $300,000 bond.

Jackson is charged with armed robbery with a firearm. He is held on a $200,000 bond.
