Men arrested, charged for Wentzville home burglary

WENTZVILLE, Mo. (KSDK) – Two men have been arrested for a residential burglary that happened Monday in Wentzville.

Dustin Lenzing and Lucus Green face first-degree burglary charges for an incident that occurred in the 100 block of Grove Street, according to Wentzille police.

The resident noticed several of her items had been scattered across her home upon her arrival, and she soon saw two men flee out the back of her home.

Police found a car that matched the developed description, and when officers attempted to stop the car, a short pursuit ensued, according to authorities. When the police stopped the driver, Lenzing, they found a number of items from the burglary, including a handgun, sitting in the car.

Green was later apprehended, and the investigation found he was armed with a gun during the burglary.

Both men are in custody in the St. Charles County Adult Detention facility on $35,000 cash-only bond.
