Murder suspects turns self in

ST. LOUIS COUNTY – A woman suspected of killing a woman in a house fire turned herself in Friday night.

Lakieshia Lane, 36, is charged with first-degree murder and first-degree arson.

On the morning of July 6, the body of 49-year-old Dana Williams was found inside a home in the 3800 block of Nelson Drive in Northwoods. Police initially named Lane as a person of interest in the crime, but later named her as a suspect.

Lane is held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.
