North city PNC Bank branch robbed

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis police and the FBI are investigating a bank robbery in north St. Louis.

Authorities say the suspected walked into the PNC Bank branch in the 4300 block of N. Grand around 12:40 p.m. Tuesday. He showed a teller a demand note and verbally demanded money. He did not show or imply he had a weapon.

The suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as an African-American man between 40 and 50-years-old. He stands between 5'8" and 5'10" tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a blue St. Louis Cardinals baseball cap, white t-shirt under a blue collared shirt, dark jacket, and loose blue jeans.
