O'Fallon man sentenced to life for wife's murder

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) – A 43-year-old O'Fallon, Mo. man has been sentenced in relation to the 2012 strangulation death of his wife, according to St. Charles County prosecuting attorney Tim Lohmar.

St. Charles County Judge Jon Cunningham sentenced Michael Rone to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the first-degree murder of Stacey Rone. He pleaded guilty previously.

According to court documents, Michael Rone strangled Stacey Rone during an argument in April 2012. He was arrested and admitted to the crime.
