Police: Disabled man kidnapped from Bridgeton motel

BRIDGETON, Mo. (KSDK) - Investigators with the Bridgeton Police Department are asking for the public's help in locating a disabled man who was kidnapped from a local motel Tuesday afternoon.

According to Lieutenant Steven James, a police spokesman, the kidnapping took place around 1:30 p.m. at the America's Best Value Inn in the 3600 block of Pennridge.

Two people, a man and a woman, took Thomas Nedich from his room. The trio was last seen driving westbound on St. Charles Rock Road in a blue or grey mid-sized vehicle, possibly a Ford or Nissan.

Police described the male suspect as an African-American in his mid-20s, standing 6'0" tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The female suspect is an African-American about 23 years of age, standing 5'0" tall and weighing approximately 125 pounds.

Thomas Nedich is a Caucasian man, 63-years-old, 5'7" tall and weighing 145 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.
