Police: Man posted ad asking for someone to beat, rape female relative

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) - A 32-year-old Crawford County man faces accusations that he posted an online ad looking for someone to beat and rape an 11-year-old female relative while he watched.

According to Officer Randy Vaughn, a spokesman for the St. Louis County Police Department, an undercover officer made contact with the suspect online and agreed to meet him at a predetermined location.

The suspect, identified as Anthony Brinkman, was taken into custody at a Cracker Barrel in south county. The female relative was with him at the time of his arrest. Vaughn said Brinkman told investigators he posted the ads and that he might be in possession of child pornography.

Police obtained a search warrant for Brinkman's apartment in Cuba, Mo.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Anthony Brinkman with attempted statutory sodomy. He remains jailed on a $100,000 cash-only bond. Prosecutors will pursue additional charges of sex trafficking of a minor with a grand jury.
