Police: Man pours gasoline in crib, threatens to light fire

ROBERTSVILLE, MO. - A Franklin County man is now facing charges, accused of threatening his wife and his grandchild.

According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, 56-year-old Patrick Howard is accused of assaulting his wife, then putting a gun to her head. He also allegedly poured gasoline into a crib with his grandchild inside and threatened to light the crib on fire.

Howard was arrested after a day-long search by deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

He has been charged with second-degree assault, armed criminal action, and endangering the welfare of a child. He's being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond.
