A man is in custody and facing charges after police said he snuck in to a woman's Central West end home and sexually assaulted her.
Jared Hurst, 26, was charged with multiple crimes — including rape, kidnapping and theft of under $500 — for his role in the Sept. 10 incident.
According to the police report, the 26-year-old woman told police she was asleep in her bedroom early Saturday morning when the man got into her home on North Boyle through a first floor window.
She told police the man implied he had a weapon, but she never saw it. He sexually assaulted her then ran away.
Hurst — of the 8700 block of College Avenue — is being held without bail.
