Police: Woman stole drugs, diluted meds with water, mouthwash

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) – A Ballwin woman faces felony charges for stealing drugs and diluting patients' medicine with water and mouthwash, according to Ellisville Police department.

St. Louis County Prosecutor's office charged Christi Franklin with stealing a controlled substance.

According to police records, Franklin worked for Bethesda Meadow, a nursing community in Ellisville, and between April and July of last year took morphine from patients. She then diluted patients' medicine with mouthwash and water.

A $5,000 bond has been set for Franklin, according to Casenet.
