Sawed-off shotgun, drug paraphernalia seized during speeding stop

A traffic stop in St. Ann took a dangerous turn Sunday.

Officers say they tried to pull over a speeding car on I-70 this morning, when driver took off.

Police say the pursuit ended in St. Louis, when the car stopped and the four people inside got out and ran.
Police arrested two people.

Officers say they found drug paraphernalia and two guns in the car, including a stolen handgun and a sawed off shotgun. Investigators said one of the passengers pointed at police during the pursuit.

No one was hurt.

So far no charges.
