Second person arrested for grandmother's death

ST. LOUIS – A second person has been charged for the shooting death of a grandmother, who was walking down the street with her three grandchildren when she was struck by crossfire.

Errick Owens, 20, is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action for the death of 46-year-old Juliette Cleveland-Davis. He is held without bond.

Cleveland-Davis was walking in the 1900 block of Hodiamont at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 30 when two suspects shot at a group of people. The group returned fire, and Cleveland-Davis was shot in her chest. She was taken to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The children were not injured.

Tommy Dora Jr. is also facing murder and armed criminal action charges for Cleveland-Davis' death.
