St. Charles bank robbery, bomb threat investigated

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KSDK) – A bomb threat triggered a Bank of America branch bank robbery Monday morning, according to St. Charles police.

A man walked into the bank located in the 1300 block of South 5th Street and said there was a bomb in the building and the bank was being robbed, according to police.

The man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

St. Louis Metropolitan Airport police bomb canine unit found no explosives.

The man is described as older with medium build, grey goatee and wore a camouflaged babseball hat with green colored polo shirt.
